I guess there was some aerial footage of illegal fireworks taken over LA this weekend and this enterprising fellow decided we now live in the dystopian future which....kinda hard to argue against.

The good news is that SoCal isn’t prone to wildfires or anything, so I’m sure this is all kosher. Especially since the City of LA is so proactive in encouraging fireworks use every July. Oh. Wait a minute...

Eh, cool video but that happens every fireworks holiday in LA. Or at least has the couple times  I’ve been there for the 4th or New Years.

Of course, it’s a great video on a lot of levels, just wanted to point out that fireworks over LA isn’t a new 2020 phenomenon . Doing a video like this fits much better today than any other time in my memory. I like it a lot and appreciate the share

Fireworks seen from the sky is a thing to behold. I was on a flight to Seattle on a July 4, I think it was 1997 (but it doesn’t matter) and seeing all the pretty sparklie s mushrooming from the ground thousands of feet below was something I was not prepared for. It was really mesmerizing. I thought at the time that much of what I saw below was professional displays in each town, that I caught a glimpse of, but given how many fireworks I did see and for so long, it’s probably the case that these were also individuals putting on their own shows.
